Let me introduce myself.....

 As my Granny would say, here are some 'snaps' from my trip. Except that I took my 'snaps' over my 3 years so far spent living in Vietnam.

Today I ticked off what seemed to be in my mind a giant task I have been longing to do for some time....create a littlelandofpia blog! Yay, I worked it out! I can now keep my small but growing number of followers informed about all things littlelandofpia related and show you what is happening in my world and keep the peeps in the loop! I also have a Facebook page, please, please like me and spread the word by showing your support!

As you may have read earlier I live in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam with my lovely beau Luke and live a life that I feel so lucky to live! The sun is forever shining, I feel the wind on my face riding around Ho Chi Minh on our somewhat trusty motor bike, devour tropical fruit, have far too many massages, facials and manicures and pedicures that should be allocated for one person in one life time. Enjoy many a cheeky quality cocktail and glass of French champagne, cruise the chaotic streets of the 'Ho' and take in it's unpredicatibility and sights and sounds like a Jack Russell pup that's been accidently let loose from the front yard. Its the perfect place to create and I am one lucky lassy.

So....aside from spending far too many hours scouring the city for new source material and inspiration, cutting and pasting on my dining room table creating these littlelandfpia works on paper I am also a fulltime Middle School and High school Art teacher at an International School in the Ho. I have been teaching in the International circuit for 5 years, and teaching Art for another 5 years back in Australia prior to this globe trotting taking place. Two weeks ago I decided to take the plunge and....*gulp*... resign from teaching and dedicate 12 months to this littlelandofpia business of mine and put my heart and soul into making this little lady a winner!!!! I am giddy with excitement and nerves and can't wait to see what this time brings.

My first goal is to expand my business and diversify and am looking into making a linen range. I'm dreaming of rad screenprinting and embroidery. Cushions, pillow cases and sheets. Thoughts and designs of these creations are my drug and I can't get enough of their sweet sugary goodness! Stay tuned lovely ones...I hope all of you can own and have a little piece of my littlelandofpia goodness in your hands soon......

In the mean time, I am just back from Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam as two of our lovely mates tied the knot yesterday and I'm wishing to click my heels three times and get back to that sea swim that I had this morning.....
